ENGLISH CHALLENGE

Good morning!!👋

The English challenge for this week is to write a story together📕.

To do it, teachers start the first sentence of the story. Then, you have to continue the story writing one sentence. 

Here you have some pictures that can help you to write your sentence. You can use one of them in your sentence.

Atenció📢: La primera persona en escriure ha de continuar la frase que hem escrit els mestres. La resta sempre heu de continuar la història seguint la frase que ha escrit l'últim/a company/a. 

Recordeu posar els verbs en passat (past simple o past continuous) ja que és una història!

DESCRIBE YOURSELF

Hello everybody! To keep on working your English pronunciation, this time we want you to prepare a funny description about yourself.

In the following link you will see a video of your English teachers describing themselves. Watch it!

Now it’s your turn! You have to follow the next steps:

·       Write a description of yourself. You have to talk about your physical appearance, your personality and your hobby or hobbies. Remember that you have already worked the description in Break Silence, so take your Break Silence dossier because it can be helpful for you.

·       Then, prepare the oral part, writing your description on the following website. This website will help you to improve your pronunciation. (https://www.naturalreaders.com/online/)

·       Once you are ready, you have to record your description because you will have to send a video to your English teacher. (Teniu fins a les 17:00 de la tarda del proper 14 d’Abril)

Hi girls and boys!

Hello everybody! To keep on working your English pronunciation, we want you to do a fun activity! Do you know what a tongue twister is?

A tongue twister is a sequence of words or sounds that are difficult to pronounce quickly and correctly as for example Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pepper.

Now, that you already know what is a tongue twister, in the following link, you will see a video of your English teachers saying one different tongue twister:

Then, the English teachers want to challenge you! You have to follow the next steps:

·       Choose one of the twisters that appear in the following website and click on it:

·       As you can see you can read the tongue twister and you can listen to it to learn the pronunciation.

·       Once you will have practised enough, then record a video of yourself saying the tongue twister.

·       Send the video to the following email: pau.puig@edifciseminari.com  (Teniu fins a les 11:00 del matí del proper dimarts 31 de Març)

·       We will make a video with all your videos and it will be shared on the blog!
