LET’S BE STARS

This week you are going to do an activity in which you’ll see the importance of the body language when the actors and actresses are acting out. First of all, you have to watch the following video:

Secondly, you have to do the worksheet you will find in the following link:

You can complete the worksheet using the Word Office program or you can print it out. In this case, it is not necessary to send it to the teacher. The answer key will be uploaded on the blog.

Aquesta setmana fareu una activitat en la qual veureu la importància que té el llenguatge corporal quan els actors i actrius estan actuant. Primerament, heu de veure el següent vídeo:

Aquesta setmana, la feina que heu de fer és representar un breu monòleg. Per fer-ho, a continuació teniu dos vídeos d’escenes curtes de Disney i el diàleg que heu de dir, tria el que més t’agradi. Veureu que a la 2a apareixen dos personatges, llavors teniu dos opcions: representar un dels dos, o els dos.

Let's express different emotions

Let's be stars 5th and 6th

This week you have to do the following body language activity. To do it, you have to watch the following video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiicx0d7yBg). Then, choose 3 emotions, practise them and then record yourself representing these three emotions. Don’t write the emotions that you represent, because we will upload some of your videos and the others will have to guess the emotions that you represent!

Una vegada l’hagueu vist, trieu tres emocions, practiqueu-les i llavors us graveu representant-les. Let's be stars 5è

This week you have to do the following vocabulary activity related to drama. To do it, you have to read the definitions and match it with the correct word. If you don’t know any word, you can use the wordreference (https://www.wordreference.com/)to find out the meaning. It is not necessary to print out the worksheet, you can do it orally. The English teachers will upload the answer key on the blog to show you the correct answers.

Dear artists!

This week the activity you have to do of Let’s be stars subject is a bit different. In this case you will become scriptwriters because using an app called Plotagon, you have to create a short story. Below you can watch the video I have prepared for you using this app.

To do this activity you have to follow these steps:

1.       Download the app “Plotagon”. It is available for Android and Apple. It is available for Windows too.

2.       Have a look on the app to see all the options that it offers (the props, the scenes, the characters you can create, the music…)

3.       Write the number of characters of your story and the sentences that they will say in the story. (Remember that it has to be a short story, so do not create many characters)

4.       Make the story using the app “Plotagon”.

Dear artists!

At the moment, the homework that you have to do of Let’s be stars subject is to keep on practising the lines you have to memorise for the play. To do it, I share with you a very interesting website that you can use writing your lines and listening how a native person says it. It can be fun! I hope that we can come back to school as soon as possible, but at the moment it’s not possible, so please stay at home and make the most of the time!
